Aldrich, Retta S age 36 married 20 years with 8 children only six are listed: Neuman F. age 18 Pearl D. age 13 Neon? A age 11 Walter C. age 8 Lola N. age 6 Carl L. age 3 In the 1920 census Numan, Walter and Carl are still in Gove Co. One internet source says the father of this family is Almon B Aldrich born in Ohio in 1864 to Oliver Aldrich. The mother's name is given as Retta Westover. In 1910 the following kids show up in school district #40 Tweed but the name is misspelled as Aldridge: Lola age 7 Neuman age 18 born February 1892 Pearl age 13 born October 4, 1896 Walter age 9 born July 28, 1899 The parent's name is given as Retta Aldridge No mention of the chld named "Neon?" The mother must have moved on after 1910 because the kids do not show up on school lists after this time period. In the Gove County death records an Oliver F. Aldrich died 4/12/1908 of pneumonia.
