After 118 years of hard use. The upper pin looks to be a replacement as the bushing had been replaced at some point. I don't know which would be original?

The upper (intact) pin is the original for my 1906 Smith. Gloria a Dios, and thanks to Tom Garver, I got both bushings out, new pins are in, and everything works Only needed to shorten the legs a bit.

That's pretty neat that someone had those rather-critical replacement parts for an almost 120-year old gun. You could almost never do that with a British gun. You'd be fabricating that part, period.
