It's beginning to feel a lot like post Christmas
Every where you go;
If you’ve got an Elsie twelve or ten
Get it glistening once again
With armor steel barrels all aglow.

It's beginning to feel a lot like post Christmas
Looking for ammo in every store;
But the prettiest sight to see
Is the cartridge boxes that will be
At Walmart’s by the back door.

It's beginning to feel a lot like post Christmas
Off to Lehigh Valley we will go;
On December 30th it will be swell
Then barbecue lunch at Grumpy’s as well,
We’re the sturdy kind that don't mind even if there’s snow.

It's beginning to feel a lot like post Christmas
Soon the clay targets will start;
And the tool that will make them break
Is an LC Smith, for goodness sake,
Gladdening every shooter’s heart

Our squad of 6 SXS shooters made our reservation with MORGANA at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays for our SXS shoot on December 30th of 2021 ..... Call MORGANA at 610-261-9616 to make your reservation .... we got a 9:00 a.m. start time for the Green Course ..... we could not get a Blue Course start time at 9:00 a.m., they were all taken ..... Squadding in Advance is Not Required

Please note that squadding in advance is not required. LVSC has been informed that the LC Smith group will be shooting commencing circa 9am on the 30th. They know that we will have at least 10 shooters and are ready to accommodate us. It is a good idea to arrive at 8:30am when the gates open so that we can take our traditional group photo before we open fire. If you know in advance with whom you wish to shoot, like Jent, of course, you are free to make individual arrangements. This is a very laid-back event with no awards, save the thrill of shooting America's finest sidelock classic. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas.

A Bull in a China Shop

Like the proverbial china shop after the visit of a bull, there was broken clay everywhere at Lehigh Valley Sporting after the departure of the LC Smith squads today. The meteorological precipitation held off and it rained down bits of shattered targets.The LC Smith Collectors Association 2021 Post Christmas Shoot is now history. Warm weather (by December standards), warm camaraderie (by any standard) and hot sport: a legendary combination.
