I recently purchased an LC Smith 12ga field grade that is 101 years old and in amazing condition. The for-end was damaged in shipping. There was a scrape about the size of a quarter with finish and checkering removed to white raw wood. I sent it to Jerry and asked him to do what he could to repair it with out a complete refinish. When I got it back I could not tell where it had been damaged without looking at pic's I took of damage. The finish and checking where a perfect match to the original. Jerry said sometimes he gets lucky, but I know it was all skill. I would recommend his work to anyone looking for quality and value.
