lc 20

i picked up a 20 ga, field gr, 32" bls.and it appears to have the factory stamp on bl. flats for 3" chambers.gun is from 1916. has anyone seen a similar gun?
also how early did they stamp 3" chambers on 20 ga. guns? pre 13?
i haven't recieved ser. no. search yet.

Don, In Dr. Jim's chronology pages it list March 1910 as the earliest 20 gauge 3" chamber gun but they had only been out I think since 1907? Don't pay attention to Chris B. He will try to snake you outta that gun!

Randy,
3" small gauge guns were stamped both with the "football" and a line stamp "3 inch chambers". I have a 16 stamped with the line stamp, but I've seen them both ways. Mine is a 1907 gun.

I have a 2E 20 gauge with an English grip and 30” barrels. Stock has little drop and SST AE. Also no safety. It’s stamped 3” as well.
