1882 Buttplace Repro

Does anyone know of a good repro buttplate for an 1882 Smith? I would love to have an original, but that's asking too much.

Bill, the one on mine is metal and has the "widows peak" tip. That is on a Quality B and not sure if all were metal.

Bill, I have a Quality 2, 3 barrel gun, and Quality A,B and C with smooth steel butt plates. I also have a B & C with hard rubber plates. I'm traveling so I'm not able to send photos to you before April 10.

Bill,do you know what type you are looking for? I have a box of ones that I have taken off over the years to put pads on.You are welcome to come look at them and see if one may fit your needs.Charlie.

I have never made a mistake on a gun forum before, but this time it seems that I was looking for a Model 1882 Remington buttplate. I guess my perfect record is at an end. Thanks for your help.
