Ok, al little more follow up on the weekend activities. |
As Brother David W. has already indicated, we won the Hammerless Challenge by approximately 20 birds.
We won the Hammer-gun Challenge against Team Parker today by approximately the same spread. Actual scores will be posted once I get a photo of the score sheet.
We won the LC Smith Parker 16 Ga Challenge on Thursday, but Team Parker only fielded 5 shooters, so we'll not brag too much on that one!
In the American Trap Challenge, I believe that LC Smith, Fox, Parker, Ithaca, & Winchester fielded teams. The top three scores from each team constituted the the official manufacturers "Team". Team Winchester was high with a score of 130 to our 129. We were second, and had quite a few folks try out. Team Winchester consisted of only three shooters, and shooters they truly were. We'll report the actual scores once they are in hand, but our teams David Defernlemont Sr shot a 47 out of 50, and we had several other shooters in the 40's. If I recall correctly, all of Team Winchesters shooters were in the mid to upper 40's. They set a pretty high bar for us to beat next year, but beat them we will!
That's all for now, but in closing we had a wonderful time with a great bunch of folks, with great weather and super targets. Rick Hemingway has put on another great event!
