11:00 a.m. Last Sign Up Time

25 Trap Targets from the 16 Yard Line

25 Trap Targets from the 21 Yard Line

Only Side-By-Side Shotguns or Vintage Single Barrel Trap Guns (pre-WW II type) may be used to shoot this event !

25 Standard Skeet Targets and 13 Skeet Doubles

51 shots total for the skeet event. Only Side-By-Side Shotguns may be used to shoot the skeet event !

The entry fee to shoot both the Trap and the Skeet events is $50.00.

To shoot just the Trap event the entry fee is $30.00.

To shoot just the Skeet event the entry fee is $30.00.

Three Trophies Will Be Awarded.
High Overall Shooter for both events combined
High Trap Shooter
High Skeet Shooter

Only lead shot size 7 and 1/2 or 8 or 9 will be allowed to shoot this event.

Lunch is included in your entry fee. Lunch will be prepared by the host gun club.

Yes there are plenty of places to stay near the York and Adams Gun Club. York and Adams is located in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, which is on Highway 30, The Lincoln Highway, very near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Good Shooting To You, Jent

Folks,our shoot will soon be here.If you would like to come there is still time to let me know so that we can get a good head count.This is a rare shoot where you will see some of the old single barrel trap guns on the competition line.Hope to hear from some new shooters this year.Charlie Brooks. 410-756-2095

We had 29 vintage shooters attend Pastor Charlies Vintage Skeet and Trap Shoot at York and Adams on Saturday, July 21st. It was raining lightly when we got started in the morning but after 10:00 a.m. the weather was just perfect for shooting clays. The ladies at Y and A prepared a wonderful lunch for us. We had our choice of pulled pork, burgers or hot dogs along with several side dishes. Pastor Charlie won the High Overall Trophy this year with a score of 91 out of 101. Dean Breeden was runner up with an 88 out of 101. The third best score, 83 out of 101, was shot by JD Shank. Pastor Charlie and Dean Breeden both shot a 47 out of 50 at Trap so we had a shoot off for the bragging rights. Pastor Charlie won the shoot off with a perfect score. Dean dropped one target in the Trap shoot off. Pastor Charlie shot at 44 out of 51 at Skeet. Jent shot a 42 out of 51 at Skeet and JD and Dean both shot a 41 out of 51 at Skeet. Max Hesselbein shot a respectable 40 out of 51 at Skeet. The most important goal of this shoot was to have fun and we did !
