Hi, My 16 gauge fell out of the wall rack and, besides some unfortunate dings and dents to the wood, the hard rubber(original)buttplate broke into two pieces. Is there an adheisive that would do a good job in re-joining the pieces?
Thanks, Jim Cochran

I have used super glue on butt plates with a couple strips cut from an old credit card glued for reinforcement on the back. I don't recall if there is any recess room on an Elie for the cc strips.
I would put just a touch of glue on the broken surfaces of the plate. Any excess that squeezes out may be hard to get off. Depend on the strips for the main support.
