I recently acquired an L.C. Smith shotgun and would like to see if anyone has any information regarding the value, etc. Info.: 20-gauge L.C. Smith Field Grade double-barreled, 26", non-ejector, improved cyl. right, modified left, "L" monogram let into the stock. It is in near immaculate condition and the serial # is 157447. Any info. is appreciated.

Nice find Jason: please check the 'Shotguns', 'FAQ', and 'Photo Trail' on the Home Page for more information. You can determine the date of manufacture and how to obtain a research letter from the LCSCA http://www.lcsmith.org/shotguns/researchdivision.html
