drew thank you for the response.i called walt the l.c.smith man and he suggested fred brunner.from calf. after a closer look at the barrels , i noticed that the serial # was restamped. i could not read the oringal number . because of polishing,but under the forearm on the rib where the grade is stamped , the restamp a-1 is over a p-2. ? the barrels fit good but could use a little tighting. is this possible? does anyone know if the a-1 had the same grade barrles as the p grade. are factory records avialable to enlighten the history of this gun? i am out of n.j. thanks for the help
