Wondering if anyone can help me out. I've just gotten hold of a Fulton Arms Co.(stamped on left side)single shot(12 gauge?)with the serial number 59257 stamped on the bottom of the barrel and 57 stamped behind the trigger guard. Trying to date this gun and find out a value if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Peter

Welcome Peter: 'Fulton Arms' is not on my list of Crescent/Folsom trade name guns, but that is the likely origin http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/20091267 It could also be a Savage, Stevens, Harrington & Richardson, or Iver Johnson. Could you post pics?

Thanks for quick response. It's my understanding that Fulton Arms was/became Hunter Arms Co.and then purchased by Marlin in the 40's? It was based in Fulton, NY. You probably know this, but thought I'd throw it out there. I'll get some pics and post. Thanks again, Peter
