BARRELS This part of the gun should clean up nicely. The barrels exhibit a beautiful English twist pattern and are greatly enhanced by the repeating V pattern on the rib. I have a gunsmith who specializes in black and white restoration of twist and Damascus double barrels and I look forward to seeing them finished. One problem I will have to deal with is the rotary lock system which is frozen into place and will not turn. I’m not sure if there is an easy or best way to take this apart, clean it out, lubricate and reassemble. I am open to all suggestions as to how to do this correctly. Similarly, for the extractors is there a correct way to remove, extract, clean/lubricate and reassemble? Thanks for your help!
