Jim, thanks for confirming that it was your gun. When I first got mine, I took it apart and to be honest, I don't think it was ever opened up. The picture I posted is when is when I opened it before it was cleaned. There was some hardened grease or oil but did not soak into the wood. This gun has been fired by a few of our members at the Hunter Arms 4th Homecoming in Fulton. They broke some trap targets and had fun with it, so please enjoy yours also. They are made very stout. Mine weighs 10 lbs. 11 ozs.
