I have a L.C Smith field grade 16 gauge shotgun made by hunter arms company that says field grade on the right barrel and the left hunter arms company Fulton,NY. I am confused because from what I have read the field grade should be just the plain Jane of LC Smith but mine has a nice engraving on the reciver of 4 birds surrounded by trees and flowers(left) an upland bird surrounded by trees and flowers(right) and a dog surrounded by trees and feathers(bottom) also the stock is engraved with Flowers and leaves. Also all of the numbers match.
