Brian; The one thing to watch on the 16s is the chamber length.I have seen plenty of nice 16s with short chambers have cracked stocks from folks shooting 2.750 length hunting loads in them.One fellow even brought his gun and shells to me complaining that these guns are junk because his stock cracked on both sides shooting these long shells in his short chambered gun.I have made all my 16s 2.750 long so that any shells will work in them.The 16 is my favorite gauge and I shoot them the most of any.Enjoy your new gun.Charlie.
