I second Pastor Charlie's comments. As a bonus, I got to shoot the Main and Hammer Gun events with Charlie and Chucky. Charlie was also gracious enough to loan me a gun for the hammer event. Attendance was good with 35 entries in the Main, 22 of which were L.C. Smith shooters. The Hammer Gun event had 16 shooters, 13 of which were Smith gunners.
Also great to visit with Bill McNett, Milt Fitterman, Tom Carver, the David DeFernelmonts, and all my other "Yankee" Smith friends. We even had BOD member Mike Harris on hand from VA to win both the L.C. Smith Main Event, Hammer Gun events.
As always, the Matarese family put on a great show, with clean grounds, and hard-working target crews. Good food and fellowship made the trip from North Carolina worthwhile.
