Badge on butt stock of an 1890 12ga Trap GunArchived Message

I have a transition 12ga trap gun that at one time had some sort of an inlay on the right side of the stock. It appears to be original considering the screws that were used. The screws are still there, but no badge. I just obtained this gun and am still trying to figure out exactly what I have. Any information would be helpful
