I recently traveled with my LC smith Ideal grade - and injector gun - and had it packed securely in my breakdown americase. The forend was attached to my barrels.
It would appear that delta baggage handlers decided to allow the case to go for some sort of high speed journey.
The case looks like it was drug down a highway (and by highway i mean runway) - Thankfully the guns are ok BUT i cant remove the forend from the barrels as it appears the ejectors have been fired due to the impact of the case. I can push on the ejectors against the spring but it doesn't do anything.
Looking for advice on how to remove the forend from the barrel.
Again - barrels are not attached to the receiver. Just the forend to the barrels.
