Okay I just bought my eighth LC Smith. It is a Feather Weight 12 gauge Field Grade. Serial # is S55404. The only serial #'s on this sight that start with S are made in 1946. But they do not go that high. If I leave off the S it shows to be made in 1949. Is by chance a later version made by Marlin? It is in near perfect condition. For $500 I could not pass it up. The right barrel has LC Smith Feild Fulton NY. It has Armor Steel Barrels. Double trigger 28" barrels. Full and Modified. When I say near perfect I mean it.
