    Dan, that is a transitional Fulton era gun. The serial numbers started at 30,000, most of these guns with serial numbers up to 36,000 do not have any makers name on the barrels and starting around 31,600 have the rounded lug.
    If you owned the whole gun and if it had a squared lug, it is possible it might be used as a pattern.
    The Syracuse era ones up to around serial number 22,600 had a "duckbill" type ebony vase shaped tip.
    There were no hammerless guns made in serial numbers 24,000-29,999, only hammer guns.
