Just received this message from Trey Martin, Tom Martin's son.
"We've had good news all day from doctors so it is much better than yesterday. He is in surgery again as I write; and he may need another tomorrow.
He had many blood clots in his legs and abdominal area. That issue is what he's in surgery for at the moment, and so far the chemical blood thinners seem to be working".
So Brother Tom is hanging in there, and that is great news; but he's a long way from being "out of the woods". Tom has been a great supporter of the LCSCA since its inception; and is known and loved by many. Trey advised me that the family would be most appreciative of any member prayers and encouragement offered up on his behalf while he struggles thru this ordeal.
