Hello David, A great solution if you had a main spring break, and had no means to procure the typical V spring. We take things like the internet for granted, but there were alot of years between the time Fulton shut down and the introduction of the Information Super-Highway. Like you, I spend alot of time keeping these old guns in the hunt for other folks, and some of the things I've come across are pretty cool, especially when it comes to broken springs, that folks came up with in order to keep the meat heading toward the table.Coil springs were, and still are, alot easier to come across than an appropriate V spring. Thanks for bringing this up.
