Mike, this gun was the poorest condition gun that I have bought. One of the reasons for buying is that for a Field Grade to have both a HOT and ejectors is not common and the price was I thought very good. I bought it mainly for sporting clays but after getting it I noticed that it was heavy. It weights 8 lbs. 5 ozs. and someone previously had drilled three 3/4" holes in the butt to make it lighter. They were over 3" deep. The barrels are 30" and heavy. I haven't checked the wall thickness yet but from the weight have to be thick. The constriction in the right barrel is .002, the left is .035.
The other drawback is that it has 3 1/2" DAH, which I can shoot but have to adjust head to do so and with sporting clays you do not have a lot of time to do so.

Today I finished the stock giving it 1 drop of TimberLuxe finish and rubbing it in.
This is a picture of the right side showing the radial rays.

Every once in a while you will see a Field Grade or a F grade hammer gun with a nice piece of wood, but not often. The stock maker probably did not think it had enough figure for a higher graded gun.

My guess is that this gun was ordered with the long drop, the trigger is in the middle position and the LOP is 14 1/8" from c/l of trigger to end of buttplate.
