If you have submitted a membership application or renewal either at the Southern SxS, online, or through the mail in the last three weeks, I will have it processed this week. For all new members, your Membership Certificate will also go out by the end of the week and you can expect to receive your first issue of the LCSCA Journal in June.
As a general rule, I process memberships twice a month. I typically wait until there I have received a fair amount and do them all at once. Please keep in mind that all LCSCA Board of Directors and Chairman positions are staffed by volunteers who have actual jobs, families, and other activities to attend to as well. While this may slow the processing of your membership, newsletter, or research letter, it also saves the LCSCA a significant amount of money.
If you have a question about your membership status, please email me at membership@lcsmith.org. I do not always check the Forum and may not see your post on here for several days or weeks.
