I say this every year, but in all honesty I don't recall having ever witnessed a better attended, better supported, more successful, and just plain down right more fun Challenge Event and Southern Side x Side than was enjoyed this year; and our members who were there are still "buzzing" with the afterglow. Team LC never enjoyed a more successful Challenge Event for our member shooters won the 16 gauge event, the 8-Gauge Challenge, the Challenge Event, the Hammer Gun Challenge; and 9 of the 12 total Challenge Events individual shooter awards. I'll do a complete write-up of the event for all to read in the up-coming Journal; but as the event manager, let me say from the bottom of my heart how much I appreciated all the wonderful and generous support given this event by those members who make a point to attend this event every year; and to those first timers who told me they can't believe the fun they've had and will certainly be back next year. And I would be terribly remiss if I failed to acknowledge just how much I appreciated all the support of those selfless individuals who worked their tails off in putting together and assisting with displays, managing our booth, answering questions, donating shells materials and equipment, running errands, providing refreshments, and all those other myriad and invaluable contributions generously provided; as it would have been impossible to host this event without that support. I will most likely never know who all these wonderful individuals were; but you know who you are and I want to publicly, and sincerely thank each and every one of you for all the great work you did!
