I purchased an Elsie Field Grade 20 gauge with ejectors at the Southern SxS made in 1949 that appears unfired. I've tried dry firing it with snap caps to get in the gun and more difficult to eject. Are these guns known to have chamber problems? I don't want to try shooting the gun and have it hang up with live rounds in it. I think it will be fine with new ammo. Reloads, not so much.
