    Derek, most of these lower graded guns were hardware store guns and ordered with the catalogs description of length of pull (LOP), drop at heel (DAH) and unless ordered different were full/full chokes.
    Hardware and sporting goods dealers would sometimes change the length of barrels to shorter, longer, chokes and what ever to the area they were located in for the type of shooting done there.

    Normally the stock length was 14 1/8" to 14 1/4" from the center line of the front trigger to the end of the butt plate. The butt plate was usually 1/4"-5/16" thick.

    He might have been short but his length of pull to the end of wood was very close to factory.
