I just got a research letter back on a gun I purchase a couple years ago and did not request a letter on until just recently.
The letter reads the gun sat unsold at the factory for more than a year when it was shipped to Schoverling, Daly and Gales in New York City in Dec 1921.
However, crazily enough, I happen to have the store receipt from the purchase of gun and the original owner purchased it at H&D Folsom in NYC about 10 months after it was shipped to SD&G.
Does anyone know if H&D Folsom and Schoverling, Daly and Gales in any way connected?
