    Choke Configuration Archived Message

Maybe Tom Breeden or someone else intimately familiar with SBT's can chime in here.

I just measured the choke constriction on the subject gun, and need some insight. From the muzzle, for a distance of three inches, there is a constriction measured with a Skeets bore gauge of .035". Then there is a 2 1/2" distance parallel with no further constriction. Then there is an additional of .024" constriction over the next 2 1/4". This leads to a total constriction of .059 inches over a total of 7 3/4" from the muzzle.

Is a two stage choke something that the factory might have provided?

I plan on lettering this gun, serial # 1861 S, but from my experience there is never choke or stock information recorded. This gun does have a cheek piece Monte Carlo stock.
