Jent, If purchased It would be used for bird hunting. From what I'm gleaning from your response chokes that are more open are an advantage and may save me the effort down the road. I hunt over two pointers so closer shots are the norm. I appreciate all the responses. I will be able to look the gun over next week. I'll will let everyone know how it went. I'm hoping there's some thickness at the muzzle end just to be safe. I will write down a checklist and look it over going down the list.
