    No, all the parts would not need replacing. Probably the only part that would have to be replaced is the safety assembly, which consists of the safety button and blade, which are riveted together. Numrich did have this part, but I don't know if it is still available. The other way to convert to a two position is to block the rear of the safety slot so that the safety can't slide back to the third position. I have seen this done by soldering a piece of brass in the slot, but it could be done by epoxying a piece of metal in the same place, which would require less heat and would be more easily reversible.
