    Hi David,
    Thank you for your response. The trigger is not as far back as a double trigger. I am short, but the gun mounts nicely for me, but I will have to see how it feels when I am wearing a shooting vest, or a jacket. There is no marking on the water table. The reason I measured the chambers is that one source had said that it could have 2 1/2" chambers, and another said that all 20 ga Smiths had 2 3/4" chambers. The former said that it was safe to shoot light 2 3/4" loads in a gun chambered for 2 1/2" shell. I did not feel it would be prudent to shoot a 2 3/4" shell in a 2 1/2" chamber. Thank you for the invite, I have never shot sporting clays, and the last time I tried skeet I shot a lot of lead, didn't hit anything. and went home with my shoulder not just bruised, but actually bleeding. I want to pattern my Elsie, and get some practice with her before I do anything else.
