Dale, I lived in AZ for 19 years, and loved to hunt dove. The last few years the Eurasians were just starting to appear. A good morning g shooting, usually was our limit of Mourning dove and a couple of Eurasians. The hunting back then, about 10 years ago, was so great that I had hunting buddies, from Long Island & FL fly in for a week of hunting. I also invited the owner of our favorite local Italian restraunt to hunt with us, and he hosted a dove dinner at his restaurant. We usually had them prepared cacciatore style, with a few separately done with bacon wrapped and sauteed. This was before my "Elsie" days, and I shot a 28 gauge Weatherby Orion. My late best friend Ted used his Winchester .410 pump(either mod 97 or 12. I can't remember which). While my son Jimmy,III, used a Browning Superposed 20 gauge. Grand times had by all, with memories to last a lifetime. Sorry I wasn't into "Elsies" then. Jim...
