I have a Hunter Special serial# 173449 H dated by your serial# search at 1939. It was given to me by my step father some years ago and some idiot had sawed off the butt to make it a pistol grip and the forend grip is missing.I hate seeing it like this and was wondering if anybody knows where I can find replacements for the wooden stock and grip? Not really interested in selling it but would like to know if it's even worth the effort to get it back to its former glory? The gun itself is pretty solid with some visible wear....Thanks for looking.
