Bill, As I read the question I believe that the OP is referring to those guns that surfaced in Va Beach in the 60's at Hadsell's Gun Shop-- the ones we discussed before. I personally wouldn't consider them L C's in the true sense of the word, as they wouldn't appear in the factory records, and would certainly not value them on the same scale of Marlin guns with legitimate serial numbers. After all, would you value a Parker assembled by Crescent the same as a Remington gun???
