Allan, from your pictures it looks like an early Fulton Quality 2 from 1895. The engraving is reminiscent of the Syracuse Quality 2 engraving and the barrels look like them also. The piece missing is a bakelite (plastic) insert showing a dogs head. These are available as a reproduction. A terrific buy and could be a decent shooter after a knowledgeable gunsmith looks it over and measures both bore and barrel wall thickness.
