Jim . You will probably have to peg the old holes in your stock and redrill holes to match the new butt plate.. Not difficult. Good luck with your 1911 16 ga. I shoot the same year and gauge all the time. It's taken down every turkey I've pulled the trigger on, plus one for my grandson. Jim C.
