    Ken You Are Very Lucky That Nothing Failed Archived Message

    Hello Ken, You are very lucky that nothing failed. Please look closely at the inside of the barrels, look very closely, do you see any rings or bulges in the barrels ???

    This is the size of the 10 gauge shotgun shell the old antique L C Smith 10 gauges were designed to shoot, see the picture below......




    Actually the original designed called for an all metal case, a case that is similar to an over grown 45-70 rifle case, a completely metal case.

    Today we use a plastic case with a brass head on the plastic case.

    These antique 10 gauge shotgun shells only hold 1 and 1/4 ounce of lead shot.

    Where are you located at Ken ??? What state do you live in ??
