Tony, After 1918, serial number records (in Brophy at least) don't distinguish grades, FW or Reg frame,ejector/extractor or gauge. There were 14,401 guns of all types made in 1919; one of their biggest years, second only to 1920 until the Marlin years. Before 1918, 20 gauges had their own serial number ranges and from 1907 to 1918 anywhere from 100 to 1000 ejector and extractor 20 gauges were made each year. The averages were about 300 ejector and 500 extractor 20s in those years. 1919 probably wasn't much different but 1918 was unusually sparse probably due to WW1.
