LC Smith Display in Sanford Archived Message

Hopefully everyone planning to attend the Southern Side By Side this weekend will take a minute or two to swing by the LC Smith/Parker tent to check out our display. Thanks to some very generous members, it's looking like we will have approximately 20 guns to show!

The main theme for this years display will be the A2 Grade. The A2 Grade was the highest grade produced by LC Smith between 1891 and 1894 when the A3 was offered. While there were only 213 A2's produced in all gauges, we've rangled up about 7 of them in all four engraving variations, and even one gun with a heavily modified Variation 4 engraving that we're referring to as a 5th Variation.
You'll not likely ever see this many A2 Grade guns in the same zip code at the same time again!

We have two sub-themes as well this year including a few rare graded hammer-guns and some one-off or unusual guns.

Looking forward to seeing all that can attend!
    John
