1906 F Grade Restoration Archived Message

I recently completed a restoration of my hammer gun and thought I would show some before and after pics. I was also hoping to get some feedback specifically on the barrels and how you think the twist pattern came out. This is my first attempt on barrels I cared about (practiced some before on junk barrels) and after doing a lot of reading on the subject. For those who have done Damascus/twist barrels before do you think I have enough silver/grey showing from the iron portions of the barrels ? I like the contrast I got, but I'm thinking of ways I could do things differently next time.

I would of course welcome any feedback/criticism/ways to improve my work, but please keep in mind that I just do this for myself to add guns to my rather modest collection. Like I said, I am very interested in feedback about the barrels from those who have done this or do this type of work-i.e. barrel refinishing.

    Thanks for looking
