    another specialty grade Archived Message

A friend at my hunting club informed my of a specialty grade that was available within an hour of my house. I had been looking for a replacement set of barrels for my current S. grade that suffered a rupture. The gun is in pretty good shape overall and the price was right so I took it home. This gun is basically the same measurements as the blown up gun. The differences are that it has double triggers instead of a HOT; chokes are not the same; and it also has a aftermarket beaver tail forend that was done rather poorly. Does anyone know where I can get a Smith beavertail forend? I am only looking for the wooden part. I compared the right side plate engraving on three specialty grades and it is interesting to note that each duck is different. One resembles a pintail, the other two resemble a scaup, and all of their wings are in different positions.
