Shelley, it all depends on what your interests are. If you plan on keeping it, which I think you do, then it is worth restoring or re-conditioning. If you plan on selling it, most likely you will never get back your investment, unless it was a higher graded gun.
I would venture to say by the term "hammerlock" that it has external hammers that you have to pull back in order to fire, and would be an F grade which was the lowest priced gun made.
If you could post some pictures, we/I would give you a better idea. If you are uncertain on how to post them, you could send me the pictures in an email and I will let you know.
