Case colored sidelock action with open scroll engraving featuring quail on left lock plate & mallard on right. Ejectors. Dbl. triggers. Checkered splinter forearm with ebony insert. Original checkered walnut stock is altered from pistol grip to straight grip configuration utilizing straightened original short tang trigger guard engraved with initials "A.A.". LOP: 14" over original buttplate. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 3/8". Neutral cast. Weight: 6 lbs. 3.5 oz. CONDITION: 80% original bbl. blue with some handling marks. Nicely visible case colors in protected areas fading to silvery patina. Forearm has worn original finish with handling marks.
