    Hello Elbert,
    Using the search engine located from the home page of our site, your gun appears to have been manufactured in 1908. Beneath the serial number on the action flats there should be a numerical stamp or word indicating the grade of the gun. An H or F would indicate that the gun has external hammers. An 00, 0, 1, 2 etc. Would indicate that it was a hammerless gun of the grade indicated by the number. After 1912, the grading system changed to words. (Field, Ideal, Specialty etc)
