Thank you Mr. Stubbendiek. I know this question probably has been posed before but, other than the name that was rolled stamped on the bottom of the barrel lug, was there any difference between the "Long Range Wild Fowl" and the "Long Range"? I use these names because I have two small (about 3" x 6") orginal Hunter Arms Co phamplets on these guns that I believe were printed in the 1920s. One is white or very light brown, 16 pages long and entitled: "Get 'em with an L. C. Smith Long Range Gun-"THE WONDER GUN". The other is green, slightly larger, 11 pages long entitled: THE L. C. SMITH Long Range Wild Fowl Gun--"THE WONDER GUN". Did Hunter Arms Co. just use different names for these guns at times with no difference in construction other than the roll stamp on the bottom lug?
