    Jason, back in the 70's, 26" barrels were very popular especially over a pointing dog. Now it seems everyone wants a 32 or 34" barrel.
    The only thing a longer barrel does is to keep your swing going.
    In your question, the difference between a 28" vs a 30" are only for someone that wants a longer barrel, it does not shoot any farther.
    As for a Regular frame over a FW, again preference, and you stated you like Regular frame, so you answered that one.
    Value, again is what someone wants and if this gun is in 90%+, and priced fairly, then it shouldn't make a difference on either frame or barrel length.
    That is my opinion. You don't find many in this condition.
