Dale, the HOT when ordered could be ordered with the trigger in the front position, like the front trigger on a double trigger gun, middle position, in-between the front and rear and the rear position, like the rear trigger on a double trigger gun. Many liked this position because it could be used in colder climates with the shooter wearing cloves. The only set-back is now your length of pull is 1" shorter than normal unless you ordered the stock longer also.
