Tomorrow I will attempt my first reassembly of a 20ga L.C. I have made the c-clamp with a pin on one side to pull the latch lever shaft into alignment and drilled a small hole in side of wood. My concern is getting the notches in the safety aligned to the link properly before tightening screws. There doesn't seem to be much of a hole to look through to visually check and since the latch lever is not in place when you start assembling the safety is not up all the way yet. Any tricks to make sure the safety is correct before tightening screws? Thank you.
